Therefore it’s very important that we learn from these mentor’s who have the set the pitch of very existence and Evolution.

Hospitality Industry has many announced and unannounced icons who have been an integral part of the journey of Hospitality Evolution . To start with we would like to talk about the very Iconic Mr. Prithvi Raj Singh Oberoi.

Prithvi Raj Singh also popularly known as “Biki” Oberoi is the Executive Chairman of the 9,991 crore EIH Limited, the flagship company of India’s Iconic ,The Oberoi Group. The Oberoi Group runs a chain of luxury hotels, The Trident hotels and Oberoi Hotels & Resorts which is the third largest hospitality chain in India .

Mr. P R S Oberoi spent his entire childhood growing up in hotels that his father Shri Rai Bhadur Mohan Singh Oberoi acquired and managed. PRS Oberoi has always mentioned that he doesn’t want his group of hotels to be the biggest, but he certainly wants it to be the best. He believes in the fact that people are his biggest assets . “You can build the best hotel in the world, but unless you have good people working in the hotel, you will not succeed,” he told CNBC-Tv18 in an interview.

He firmly believes in detailing because as rightly said Devil lies in detail. He has established the Oberoi centre of learning and development which laid the Foundation of Hospitality Education in India 

Mr. P R S Oberoi is also  awarded with  Padma Vibhushan which  is the second-highest civilian award of the Republic of India.
